- HalliHallo,
-
- now that I`ve been working on Init-Strings for more than a month things do
- connect quite well 28.8. But only by editing mdmmoto.inf manually! Plug &
- Play led me into 26.4 and severe connection probs: `E0` is ***.
-
- Now that I only let atz reset the Power to saved profile (which contains
- \N7 %C1) still strange things _do_ happen:
- When I make connects with a DOS terminal program I do get a fully connect
- message as \V4 too is activated: "28800/V34/V42BIS" in the terminal
- window.
-
- When I connect to that same number (university tcp/ip server) via Win95
- Dial-Up-Network the _ModemLog_ says:
-
- error control off or unknown
- data compression of or unknown ???:-(
-
- Now, even with standard 28.8 modem driver message won`t change to desired
- \V4-style nor error control/data compression will be recognized.
-
- Even by superscribing Modem/Connection/Advanced-Setting - which is added
- to registry by Win95 as second init - by giving a third init like
- "ATZ\V4\N7" modemlog output stays the same.
-
- Is there a proper mdmmoto.inf? Is there any other suggestion?
- Thanx for help!
-
- Yours
